2. Common File Upload Issues
You may encounter these errors when uploading files to MindMap AI:
Unsupported File Type
What this means
The file you're trying to upload is not in one of the supported formats.
How to resolve
- Check if your file matches one of the supported types:
.png, .jpg, .jpeg, .webp, .aac, .flac, .mp3, .m4a, .mpeg, .opus, .wav, .webm, .flv, .mov, .mpg, .mp4, .wmv, .3gp, .pdf, .txt, .md, .csv
- Ensure the file is not corrupted or improperly exported
Pro Tip: If your file type isn’t supported, convert it to a supported format and upload. For ZIP files, extract and upload the files individually in a supported format.
File Too Large
What this means
The uploaded file is larger than the size limit allowed by your subscription plan.
Size limits by plan
File Type | Basic Plan | Pro Plan | Lifetime |
---|---|---|---|
30 MB | 50 MB | 50 MB | |
Audio | 50 MB | 100 MB | 100 MB |
Video | 70 MB | 150 MB | 150 MB |
Note: Make sure to check your plan and the file size before uploading. If your file exceeds the limit, consider upgrading to the Pro or Lifetime plan for higher upload allowances.
Unsupported File Type
What this means
You attempted to upload a .zip file (type: application/x-zip), which is not supported by MindMap AI.
How to resolve
- Upload the extracted files individually in one of the supported formats
